"You are beautiful from the kinks in your hair, melanin in your skin to..."
Written by Dear Black Woman Monti
When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
Do you see the woman that you are or the woman that you want to be?
Do you see what society tells you to be?
You are the woman that you are and who you are striving to be! The strong Black woman who isn’t afraid to put the world on your back, but also understand that when you need to put the world down and tend to yourself, you will.
You are beautiful from the kinks in your hair, melanin in your skin to the mental strength you create to maneuver through this world! The world tries to break you at every moment of the day, but you continue! You continue because you know your worth! You are worthy of more than anyone can imagine for you!
You create and visualize the world you want to be in. You will not allow anyone to deter you from your duty to be yourself and love who you are!
