I’m here to tell you how beautiful you are.
I always knew you were beautiful. I mean, look at you. Your skin that glows and smiles lines that remind me of how happy you make me. Your hair... I still am in awe of how many different ways you wear it. You are magic. But damn... I never realized how beautiful you were until I saw your mother in your eyes. Her strength. Her love. Her gentle love. Her spirit. It lies within you, hun. And that shit is powerful. And that’s just the external. Don’t get me started on your internal beauty that radiates through those pores. I know we’re still trying to get right on your spiritual and religious paths to be our best selves. Still working on that internal beauty? I get it, trust me. It’s truly a never-ending battle. Just know I see you, boo.
But, I’m also here to tell you how wondrous you are.
How is it that you’re able to inspire so many to be their best selves? How is it that you know just what to say when I’m feeling down? How is it that you are full of optimism? Your care free spirit makes me feel free when I’m around you. Whenever I’m with you, I never want to leave. You’re infectious.
